EcoVero Capri Leggings
The fabric
Considered in the making, easy in the wearing
EcoVero is made from wood grown in FSC or PEFC certified or controlled forests, traceable from forest to fabric, and it carries the EU Ecolabel for reduced impact across the production lifecycle. Set against generic viscose, EcoVero is made with up to 50% less water and carbon emissions, according to the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (Lenzing). The figures matter, and so does something simpler: a piece you wear for ten years is a different thing from one replaced every season.

Why EcoVero
Soft, fluid, and easy to wear
The feel comes first. The credentials make it an easy choice.
Feel
The hand of silk, without the fragility
EcoVero has the soft hand and fluid drape of silk viscose. It sits close to the body without clinging, and stays smooth and calm against the skin, with no static and no stiffness.
Comfort
Breathable across the day
As a fibre made from wood, EcoVero breathes and moves moisture away, so it does not trap heat or feel clammy in warmth, and it layers easily when the day cools. It travels kindly too, and comes out of a case ready to wear.
Movement
Comfort in stretch
EcoVero blended with elastane creates fabric that moves with you, offering gentle stretch and natural recovery. Pieces hold their shape through countless wears, maintaining their composure wash after wash, season after season. It's comfort that never compromises on elegance.
The proof
Traceable from forest to fabric
Wood you can trace to its source, with the certifications named.
Transparency
Forest to fabric
EcoVero is made from wood grown in FSC or PEFC certified or controlled forests, traceable from forest to fabric. The schemes name the forestry standards the wood is grown to.
Colour
Colour that holds
EcoVero takes dye thoroughly and holds it, so a piece keeps its depth and richness through repeated washing.
At end of life
A biodegradable fibre
The EcoVero fibre is certified by TÜV Austria as biodegradable in soil, freshwater, and marine environments, and compostable under home and industrial conditions. That is a quality of the fibre itself, named by an independent certifier.
Paula Ryan EcoVero Mesh Insert Top
Investment value
Made to be worn for years
An EcoVero piece is made to stay in your wardrobe, not pass through it. Soft, fluid, and made with care, these are the pieces you reach for on a flight, at your desk, and at dinner, and then again the next week. EcoVero has the same luxurious drape and silky hand-feel as our beloved Micromodal, the beech-derived fabric that defined Paula Ryan for decades. For those who know that fabric, this is a natural evolution. For everyone else, it's a piece that feels like it was made for just for you.

What is EcoVero?
EcoVero is a premium viscose made from wood grown in FSC or PEFC certified or controlled forests. Versus generic viscose, it is made with up to 50% less water and carbon emissions, according to the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (Lenzing), and it carries the EU Ecolabel for reduced impact across the production lifecycle.
Is EcoVero biodegradable?
The EcoVero fibre is certified by TÜV Austria as biodegradable in soil, freshwater, and marine environments, and compostable under home and industrial conditions. The certification applies to the fibre.
Does EcoVero hold its shape and colour?
Yes. EcoVero takes dye thoroughly and keeps its depth through repeated washing. Our EcoVero pieces are blended with elastane for four-way stretch and recovery.
How do I wash and care for EcoVero?
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with similar colours, using a mild detergent. Skip the bleach, enzyme cleaners, and fabric softener. Do not tumble dry: reshape it while damp and dry it away from direct sunlight. If you are travelling, a quick wash in a hotel basin and an overnight dry works just as well. Iron on low with steam if you like.
Is EcoVero good for travel?
Yes. EcoVero is breathable and resists wrinkles enough to come out of a suitcase ready to wear, with no special handling. It layers easily and stays comfortable across warm and cool conditions, which is why it tends to be the piece you pack first.
